Dromin Graveyard
« on: Saturday 30 December 17 12:08 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

My Great-Grandmother's family (O'Dea) came to Australia from Limerick in the 1850s, having previously resided in the Kilmallock area. The Dromin graveyard has been this particular family's burial ground over the course of the last 200 years. I have all of the information regarding the dates of death & burial going back to my 4x Great Grandparents, but have not been able to contact anybody in Limerick that might be able to take photos of their gravestones for me. Attempts to contact the parish church, of which there is a statue of my 2x Great Grandfather's cousin out the front, have been unsuccessful. Can anybody recommend a service to me that might be able to provided images of my ancestors graves?

I can take photo's for you in July next year, if that's ok with you.
My Grandparents are burried there.
Ok,

Hi, Just noticed, a John O'Dea this was in 1851 in UREGARE, this is in Griffiths Valuation.
This is where my Grandmother was from.
Did any of your people marry an Enright?

Hi Kody

I laughed when I say your post . I was over in Dromin in 2011 looking for someone else and these two were the only two I took a photo of to give to a cousin of mine whom I thought may have been related but they were not . I have tried to attach both photo's but they are too big to send with this post . You will have to PM me and I will email both to you

Happy new year
