You could send a personal message [pm] with the name & GRO birth reference [as well as the details from the birth certificate when you get it] to anyone who asks for it, that way the name will not appear on this public forum. Click on the text icon below a member's profile & you can send a pm.

From the GRO the certificates are available as .pdf files at the moment for 6. Normally they are 9.25.See the link given by AntonyMMM
