Brilliant photos - (should have read all the blurb first   )  - thought I recognised the streets and buildings of Oslo. 

And it is so!!

Lived there for 10 months and many of the buildings were the same.  I recognised the Storting/Parliament, Palace - (looks the same as Buck House), Cathedral with it's distinctive spire, cobbled road of Karl Johansgate with the tram up the middle, and University.  Also in a couple, the young men are wearing the distinctive cap that new graduates from school wear in Norway.

Been enjoying those photos again and again. 

Don't you just love those huge 1890s sleeves they were wearing.  Love the one of national coatume too.   They really are a treasure chest aren't they.
