Mystery/Brickwall re Children born (and died) before 1911 Cencus

I have been struggling for a number of years to find all the children born to my GG Grandparents - John and Elizabeth Harper (nee Pitt) - who lived in Aston, Birmingham and Foleshill, Warkwickshire.

On the 1911 census they are listed as "Harpes" living at The General Wolf Public House, 23 Aston Road, Birmingham - living with them are their 4 children - Henrietta (Hatty) born 1893, Alfred (John) born 1895, George born 1896 and Elizabeth (my Grandmother) born 1901.

The census states:

 "Total children born alive" - 7
 "Children still living" - 5
 "Children who have died" - 2

There are 4 children listed on the 1911 census (as above) and I have details of another child "Alice Maud" who was born 1906 and died 1907.

So that leaves me trying to find another 2 children - one of whom is still living (but not listed on the census (or any other census) and one who had died by 1911.

I did find a birth for "John Harper" in 1911 but he was born 22nd April which was after the census - and died in 1914.

I have searched the GRO looking for male and female births between 1892 (when they married) through to 1911 (with the criteria of a mothers maiden name of Pitt) but cannot find anything at all, have also searched Ancestry, FindMyPast, Family Search, Free BMD without any success.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

There's a Henry born Sep West Brom 1903 

Most of the others you mention are registered Aston.  Perhaps one of the surnames is down incorrectly for the missing children, have you searched without exact spellings?

Looking for Harper born Aston there is a Charles J 1901 with mothers name Peart - just looking for anything like Pitt but not Pitt if you see what I mean!

I had dismissed the birth of Henry Harper as I have no information to suggest my GG Grandparents ever lived anywhere apart from Aston and Foleshill. 

It may be worthwhile me now searching for a death for Henry.

My Grandmother Elizabeth was born 1901 in Foleshill so I think we can dismiss Charles for the moment.

Elizabeth is registered Mar 1902 so I suppose it's possible there was another one born April-June 1901 depending on actual birth dates but tight. 

How many children are on the 1901 census?

Elizabeth was born December 1901.

On the 1901 census there are 3 children - Hatty, Alfred and George.

Thank you I see it.  Tenuous connection but there is also father called Henry Harper living with them.

There is a Henry Harper death in Aston Sep 1904 age given as 1.
