Thank you. My info was from civilrecords.irish genealogy records... Thomas B.FitzGerald, 1885, age 70 Irishtown Road, Clerk.   Bridget, died 1890, age68 Londonbridge Road.   Both with Kate, daughter
as informant.  husband Clerk.
Can I take it that these are the same family.   This will help me a lot.

My great grandfather was a stonecutter as was his father before him his brother was one and his son's as well ,on his childrens certs birth and marriage i get as occupation a stonecutter a mason and a sculptor and even labourer on one, he would have had to serve a 7 year apprenticeship as would most likely your Thomas C the same usually from the age of about 14.
You most likely have found the right marriage in Limerick the daughter Mary there as well it would be interesting to see what's on Kate's birth cert in Southampton and Michael's if you could find it circa 1843,all the moving around makes me suspect he may have been in the military but i could be wrong there.
I also noted Thecla was born in Irishtown 1875

Michael Fitgerald was a soldier on his marriage in 1885 it would also be interesting to see who he gave as his next of kin on his service record if it still exists.
He would have been in the army a while as you had to get permission to marry.

Mrs Kate Teresa Coles is buried in Southern Cemetery, Roman Catholic part, in what seems to be a public grave.

Hi heywood and others

Thank you once again for all the info.

Decided to send for d.c. of Kate T. Coles.    It seems she was knocked down and run over by a car (1919!!!!) and died from her injuries.           No other info re informant.   Now to see where she was born.

I had that information, but never managed to find it.   Other siblings seem to be from Limerick.
