Baptisms of Harry and Daisy, which seem to tally with the birth registrations and census records, although it looks like Daisy was baptised at a later age.

name: Harry Cole
baptised: 05 Jul 1891; St Michael, Ramsey
father: John
mother: Elizabeth
abode: Ramsey
occupation: platelayer
ref: SEAX D/P 7/1/8

name: Daisy Cole
baptised: 05 Feb 1899; All Saints, Wrabness
father: John
mother: Elizabeth
abode: Wrabness
occupation: gamekeeper
ref: SEAX D/P 6/1/3

It doesn't help much with Harry's whereabouts after 1911 but hopefully it's of some interest.

There's a possible railwaymen union register entry. However, given the DoB of your Harry the age of this Harry is out by a year. And considering the number of Harry Coles in Essex of a similar age it's difficult to be say if this is your Harry.

Railwaymen Union register:
name: Harry Cole
age: 21
date of admission: 25 Nov 1913
grade: Fireman?
railway: GE? (Great Eastern?)
admission branch: Harwich

cuffie81 you are a star! Thanks for the baptisms, that's a bit more to the puzzle. I have come across the railway union record but as you say it's hard to know if it is my Harry. Thanks again.
