[= 12 pence]

...my godchildre(n) to everye one

...are xpofer
[= Christopher] Rookes*
p(ar)son of wayhill

* Could possibly be Kookes, but my feeling is that it's an R.

ADDED:

...other legaces of...

...make Peter noyse...

ADDED 2:

There's a special character which stands for -es (sometimes -is).

You can see it at the end of poorefolkes, goodes and legaces.

That was quick horselydown86, thanks so much.

That all makes sense.

I really was struggling with what you spotted as "parson".  I've seen Xpofer/Christopher often before and also wondered if "R" rather than "K" (having gone through all the local burials etc. looking for matching surname without clear result). I have an original copy of "The History of Weyhill and Its Ancient Fair" by R.M. Headley published posthumously in 1922.  This is from the list of "Rectors of Weyhill" in its pages, there he is in the right date period Christopher ROOKE, mystery solved !   :)

I really was struggling with what you spotted as "parson".

The key is the crossed descender on the p.  That means it represents a contracted form of par-, per- or pur-.

Thanks for confirming the Rooke matter.

"crossed descender on the p" - think had too much "New Year cheer" last night as I could see the "son" but I couldn't think what the "p" was shortening  :-[
