Can anybody decipher the details below??? Many thanks
« on: Tuesday 02 January 18 21:35 GMT (UK) »
Good evening,

Can anybody decipher the writing attached?  One is taken from my great grandfathers death certificate from 1931 the other is from, who I believe to be, my 3 x great grand dads marriage from 1829, it's the witness name I cannot make out.

Please see attachments

Once again many thanks for your help.

I think the first name might be Dan(ie)l Clancy ( final l of Daniel is superscript).

or .... Dond? Donald?

Added: More likely to be Daniel, if you might expect the writer to write the small superscript d with the same flourish as the d end of Edmond, which may or may not be the case.  :)

I thought that the second witnesses surname looked similar to the brides surname? Harroll or similar.
