Hello,

Can anyone confirm if a family called "STOLLERY" lived at 7 Whitehouse Court, Wheeler Street,
Spitalfields, Middlesex, in or around 1850/1851.

It might help if you explain who you are looking for, and why that address?

It is White Horse Court, HO107; Piece: 1543; Folio: 397; Page: 15. There are two families at No. 7, a Daniel McCarthy, and a John Piper.

The family "STOLLERY" I am familiar with lived in Marylebone according to the 1851 Census: Parents: William and Mary, Children: Catherine, Joseph, Charlotte and William, the latter born 1838.
I am in contact with descendants of this family.

Convict Records for a William STOLLERY born possibly 1834 Middlesex for whom I can find no Census/Birth details indicated his parents lived at 7 Whitehouse Court and I was wondering if the family had moved prior to the 1851 Census, say, in 1850 and someone on RootsChat had specific access to records of people and locations in Middlesex at that time.   It was purely a thought borne out of sheer desperation of fruitless searching to establish whether or not there was a connection between the two William.

Thank you so much for that information.   No family "STOLLERY"  Was William STOLLERY telling fibs.   Probably I shall never know

A William Stollery bn 1834 was in the Navy -though bn Suffolk not Middx

He volunteered in 1853 but was not released from prison until June 1864.

This chap is so difficult to tie down.   At his trial he was described as smartly-dressed and it was assumed he belonged to a "juvenile swell mob".   A newspaper report referred to him as "STALLARY" but this proved a red herring.
