Information when using the freebmd site.
 When you have only one name and looking for a potential spouse's name that has been mistranscribed. Spouse's other halves are showing listed, just enter into the page no.

My advice - if in doubt ask Rootschat.  Lots of very experienced and helpful people willing to help.  I was quickly put on the right track with a surname problem last year.  Saved no end of heartache!

When performing a search on FreeBMD, you can also do a download of the data.

This is useful when (apparently) a partner is missing for a marriage ;)
Select the correct year, quarter, volume and Registration District.
You can put the downloaded data into Excel, and sort on page number.

There should be an even number of entries per page - either 2, 4 or 6.
So, fairly straightforward to check those page numbers that have an odd number of entries?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
