Court martial

Is there Anyway to look up court martials that took place in cork in 1915.. regarding william duffy royal dublin fusiliers.. ive been researching my grandfather and i came across a person with the same name and unit who was court martial . It dosent give his serial number so cant be sure if its my grandfather or someone with just the same name

His name doesn't come up in any of the National Archives Courts Martial records.  However, these cover the higher levels of Court Martial, if it was a [low level] Regimental Court Martial, records are unlikely to be found. Have your grandfather's records survived?  Is the battalion of the man given?

Battalion on the court martial says 3rd xtra reserve battalion

9352 William Duffy was admitted in France to No3 Casualty Clearing Station with a dislocated ankle on 26 April 1915 - that record says 4th Battalion which must be an error, neither 4th (or 3rd) served overseas.  His medal roll says he served in 1st and 2nd Bns.  I find no service record for him.

What was the date of the court martial in 1915?

William Duffy regimental number 9352 first went to France on the 9 Feb 1915 according to his Medal roll Index card.

Bit puzzled as to what records you are looking at as you seem to have a different overseas date.  I find only the medal roll showing his battalions, the medal card with overseas date as Crisane quotes, the medical list quoted showing he was in France in April 1915 and his Silver War badge record for his discharge in August 1916 which cross checks with his medal card.  Without other evidence I'd say it must be a mystery as to whether the court martial man is 9352 Duffy.
