France feb 1915 til april 1915. Then november 1915 til august 1916 hes somewere else.  Med or salonika

There is then a gap when he could have been at home with the 3rd Battalion and the second set of dates could be 1st Battalion.  Last question - what document is it that has these dates and places and are we allowed to see it?

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe

I have his discharge papers.  He was medically unfit for active service in august 1916 and discharged.. he served 2 years with the dublin fusiliers.  August 8 1914 august 9 1916. Between april 1915 and november 1915 he would of been home until he was fit after his ankle injury
