Martha Margaret Picton married Ap/May/Jun 1882 Liverpool to James Richardson.

So she survives childhood so must be somewhere on earlier censuses!

Remember the census only shows where a person was on that particular night. Have you looked at relatives to see if Jemima was with them?

The 1861 census was 7 April. So if Martha was born the following December, Jemima can't have been far away!  ;)

No Martha was already born before the census! Should be somewhere 3mo old.

Sorry, yes you are right. So where is she in 1861?

Can't easily see baby Martha in 1861.

Did Mary born 1855 also survive?  Born 25 Apr 1855 and baptised 20 May 1855.

I've found Thomas buried in Toxteth cemetery. Unrelated people in same grave. No sign of Jemima.
