No problem, I'm used to losing the plot!!  And now back to the search  :)
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hello Everybody.

Thank you everybody for your interest in my 'appeal'.
The 2 parties to the marriage I seek have been very elusive for quite awhile
and looking through my notes, I believe that they probably never married.
I am going to put this one to bed now.My Thanks again and best regards.

As you have seen the 1911, you will know there is no listing or acknowledgement of Rose May there.

Maybe
Birth, March 1899 Romford 4a 529
Bines, Rose May
mother —

Death, Sep 1901 Romford 4a 331
Bines, Rose
age 2

With no sign of her in 1901? Well, I couldn't see her!
Among those with the same page reference as Rose Bines in the March 1899 births (4a 529) was Thomas William Mills, and he is three baptisms further on from Rose May Seager in the Barking baptism register (he was born a day earlier than her)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-DYKZ-ZMM?i=862&cc=1465709&cat=399365

So likely that Rose Bines was born in Barking, and also likely that she was illegitimate. Is it possible that Rose was quickly adopted by Thomas and Elizabeth?

Elizabeth (b 1866/7 Dagenham)
Might be her baptism, 28 April 1867, Dagenham
BT here
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-YSL6-LHV?i=1644&cat=490875

This is getting stranger!
I wondered if Elizabeth was still alive in 1939, ditto Thomas Seager.

Thomas said he was born in Hadleigh, Suffolk
This seems to be his birth reg?
March 1871 Cosford 4a 496
Seager, Thomas Phillip
mother Beaumont

And a free search of the 1939 Register finds
in Dagenham M.B.
Thomas P. Seager,  born 1871
living with
Elizabeth Bines, born 1867
George Ellis, born 1869

May not be over yet!
Is Elizabeth Ellis/Phillips/Seager also Elizabeth Bines, or is it a different lady?

Death, June 1947 Romford 5a 378
Bines, Elizabeth
age 80

Death, March 1952 Romford 5a 549
Seager, Thomas Phillip
age 82

Elizabeth Ellis from Dagenham did have a brother George, two years younger than her.
Family in 1871, headed up by George Ellis and wife Charlotte
