Presumably the Florrie we see in 1901 is the Florence Phillips, 6, in Tilbury with Henry and Elizabeth in 91.

It might just be a coincidence but Elizabeth Ellis was living at 1 Clay House, Dagenham with her parents George and Charlotte on the 1871 census. And Elizabeth Bines' address at the time of her death was 2 Clay Cottages, Dagenham.

Many Thanks for your very interesting and valuable input to my appeal.
Between you there has been a lot of work on my behalf. I now have a great deal to look at and think about. There are now many further questions to answer as well.

Thomas Seager is a brother of my wife’s Gr Grandfather so he took a back seat for a long time. This family have been a huge mystery that I have been returning to for well over 10 years.

The one area I had not looked at was the 1939 which was where you probably found the Bines name which I have never researched.

Rose May ‘Sigger’ is shown in the 1901 age 2 on 2nd page of the family listing
RG13/1653/49/p37. So at that point she is to all intents and purposes, a Seager.
She disappeared after that with no BMD record at all at the GRO.

I have to access Ancestry & Find m Past at the local Record Office which only opens 3 days at the end of each week and I am gratefull that you have both added all reference points.

Its obvious now that Elizabeth Ellis Phillips and Thomas Seager never married but I imagine that must have been extremely unusual at that time..
