Can anything be done to improve this please?  The young man standing Lance Taylor was KIA in July 1916  :'(

I wish it was scanned with 300 DPI at least so restorers would gain best results

Wasn't sure if a mark on Lance's finger was a wedding ring but treated it as one (not that it stands out anyway).
