Hi
Which cemetery in Llanrug are you referring to ?   There are MI booklets for 3 cemeteries in the parish listed in Gwynedd Family History Society (GFHS) publication List. St Mihangel ( C in W - in 2 parts), Capel Caeathraw(CM), Capel Mawr, Llanrug (CM). There is a relatively new cemetery next to St. Mihangel; I don't know whether it belongs to the Church or the Community Council; it's not listed on Gwynedd Council website as being theirs.
There is a problem with location references in that GFHS references can be different to those of the body responsible for the cemetery, and also the booklet's plans don't always show the plot reference.

The L2 and L3 references in the GFHS books are certainly more recent. The older ones are in Pt 2, and prefixed as N, P, Q and R. (I've some ancestors in 'N' whose graves date from the mid 18th century)
These surround the church itself. Do you have some names etc ? I'll check the publications.

Link for the newer graveyard. Seems to be run by 'Cyngor Cymuned Llanrug' , rather than by Gwynedd. There's a spreadsheet there which lists the graves.

N120 : "Alys Owen a gladdwyd Ionawr 16 1766 , 64 . William Edward a gladdwyd Mawrth 4 1786 ei
             oed 84"

(AO :   1702 - 16/01/1766 , WE  : 1702 - 04/03/1786)
A footnote refers to it as being a flat stone.

The adjoining graves refer to

In N118 :
Alis Williams, Cefn , wife of Morris Thomas, Ty Cerig (sic) Llanddeniolen (sic) 1776 - 21/06/1812

In N119:
William Williams , Cefn ( 1736 - 05/03/1821) , his wife Catherine
(1737 - 07/06/1827) ,
Griffith Pritchard (1774 - 04/03/1844) , his wife Margaret (1778 -  14/12/1863)

The graves are the last row in Section N. (Section N is the one nearest the road, adjoining the church) before coming to Section P . If you want  the plan, pm me and I'll send you a scan.
