Thrussington Burial Records 1887-2007 DE7633/1
« on: Sunday 07 January 18 13:37 GMT (UK) »
From the current issue, December 2017, of Leicestershire & Rutland Family History Society newsletter:

"The burial records in the Records Office (Wigston) ceased in 1886.  After contacting the vicar, who was very helpful and was adamant that the records had been submitted to the Records Office.  I went to the Office but found nothing in the microfiche drawers.  I spoke to a staff member, who checked to see if they had gone to FindMyPast but they had not.  He then looked elsewhere and found that the records were in their storeroom.  Store number for these burials is DE7633/1."

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
