Yes that was me too. I have been told this new information from a member of the family.
He seems to think they were well off farmers who had been on the same farm for years .
He was called William Frederick Handley on the birth cert.
I have been told this was made up.

Where was he born? I canít see a William Frederick Handley birth in 1914. :-\

Eric Handley is the illegitimate son.Willilam Frederick Handley was the made up Dadís name.
Martha Watts/ Handley is Mum .

Martha Watts/Handley  and her address. Dad as William Frederick Handley, tool maker. Son Eric Handley.
On Eric's wedding cert it says Arnold samuel is his Dad, who died in 1911.
