Possible burial at Pentir or Llandygai
« on: Monday 08 January 18 20:03 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the burial place for
RICHARD OWEN
who died 3rd January 1860 and was buried 7th January by Daniel Evans
He died at Glanadda Terrace in Bangor and appears in parish records.
I have tried MIs for Bangor Cathedral and Tan y Fynwent cemetery. Glanadda did not open until 1862.
I believe some burials took place at Pentir and Llandygai due to lack of room elsewhere.
Is anybody able to lookup either for me please?
Thank you.

He's not listed as Llandegai or Pentir  so it must have been Bangor.

Report of his death  in North Wales Chronicle but no mention of burial so far in Welsh Newspapers online.

Thanks for the information Gadget. I was hoping for a grave stone (all later family burials had one) to get over a brick wall but think I have to admit defeat now. It was worth a try.
