Castle Donington registers

I s there a particular reason why Castle Donington registers do not appear online?

When my wife asked the record office about this, she was told that a film had been supplied to FindMyPast, but they hadn't added them to the site yet. However, they do have some BTs online.

I notice that the parish coverage list on FindMyPast is next to useless.

I'm researching a chum's tree for them, specifically SUMMERFIELDs. So far I have quite a few from FamilySearch, but need to see more detail really.

Do you have a transcription and is it possible to buy a copy from somewhere?

I use Findmypast and can see Castle Donington results. Are you aware that Castle Donington comes under Shardlow District?

Hello Artypie,
I was after parish register images, rather than civil registrations.
Findmypast have Bishops Transcripts but only up to 1760.
The clan I am looking at - the SUMMERFIELDs - did not arrive in the parish until 1790.
In the end I purchased a copy of the transcripts that Bunnygirl pointed me to.

Yes, Familysearch don't have all parish registers digitised yet but they do have transcripts of parish records for Castle Donington, and there are death duty register images and wills/probate images.
