Handwriting deciphering

I need some extra sets of eyes to help me with this. It was written from a sister who emigrated from Northumberland to Michigan mid-late 1800s, to her brother back home

Having a go at the first one:-

but the trouble you mention that George was in was the worst of all I think I see you sitting in (??) one of your own boys a prisoner at the bar to me it seems dreadful how could you stand it hope he will be a good boy & always keep good company & he a comfort to his father.

Doesn't seem to have gone in for any punctuation here.

Farm with George he has worked at coak?? brens?? all his life so does not know any thing about farm work
