Like yourself and others I too can find next to nothing about George Burbery as a wrestler.   Indeed, can find little about wrestling in this time frame at all.

Would seem his wrestling 'career' must have taken place between 1861 and 1881 - I cannot find him anywhere on the 1871 census so don't know where he was living then.   The first 'sighting' of him being in Congleton is in 1881 census, so we have a 20 year gap when we don't know where he was or his occupation then.  He certainly wasn't living in Congleton in 1871.

Thanks soooo much, my sincere appreciation, I found only two of his competitive results on BNA, 1863 and 1867.
