« on: Wednesday 10 January 18 12:15 GMT (UK) »
Hello I am looking for my brother/maybe sister born in Wellingborough area, maybe Northampton,or even London. Our mothers name was Sybil Diana West. From Wellingborough. She was sent away in 1958 to London,to have me.She was 19.Getting my birth records I read she had a baby before me who was also adopted. Does not say if boy or girl,or where baby was born.Mother died a few years ago but she always denied having a baby before me.Was just posting to see if anyone might be able to help please?

Is this your grandparents' marriage?

Marriages March quarter 1937
Flora K Munday  Wellingbro'
William T West    Wellingbro'

There are 2 West/West Northampton births in the approximate time period, and many in London.

You have added a postem to your birth, which is what we would recommend.

Hi

Welcome to Rootschat.

We cannot discuss you openly, in public.
In order that Rootschatters can talk to you only, you will have to use the Personal Message system (PM).

Once you have posted twice more ( just say "Hi" and separately "Thanks"  ;D )
then the pm system will allow you to send/receive.
You send a message by clicking the persons name on the post, then "Send pm".

You mother married twice?
You have 2x half-sisters from the first?

Should you NOT have the details then please send me a message?

Cheers!
Ray

Yes Birth mother died a few years ago. I did meet her. I am in touch with one of my half sisters but she does not know any details about a baby born before me.
