Is there any one living nearby who might be able to access 19th century records at the state archives in Bydgoszcz in Poland??

That is kind Dave, thank you.

I am still trying to find out about the parents and siblings of my great grandmother, as per this thread:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=752582.msg6013041#msg6013041

It seems that civil birth archives survive for Nakel am Netze from 1874, and that Jewish records survive from 1823 - 1832 & 1835 - 1889, so it may well be possible to find the details, but not much is on line, and I don't speak Polish, which is why I was hoping for a response from an enthusiast located near the archive of Bydgoszcz.

Blimey Dave, that is incredible!!

Consider yourself covered in kisses!  :-* :-*

This was in the Civil or Jewish archive?

Can you find me any siblings for Laura?

Sorry Dave - got a bit excited there - please read "is there any possibility of discovering Laura's siblings?"

I have sent an email asking if I can purchase a copy of the original marriage document.

Many thanks again! :-*
