Tasmanian convict - Joseph bliss

I'm after any info on a Joseph Bliss alias Johnson, dob abt 1795 place of conviction Derby 20 mar 1822 and voyage date 19 Jun 1822 on Caledonia. I'm stuck and can't find any uk records on him or his family I know he was convicted of forgery if anyone can help me I'd be ever grateful  :)

Can't find any records for Bliss in Derbyshire, 2 maybe's...

Joseph Johnson. baptised 06 Jul 1795, St. Werburgh, Derby, Derbyshire. To Joseph and Mary.

Joseph Johnson. baptised 29 Jul 1795, Duffield, Derbyshire. To Samuel and Elizabeth.

From his convict records it looks like he was born in Northamptonshire.

When he was received on the prison hulk in May 1822 his age is recorded as 23 -  so born
About 1799,  not 1795 as in your post.

I have no idea whether this is related, however there is a newspaper report of 2 men going to gaol for 28 days for ill behaviour towards their master (desertion) - Joseph BLISS, farmer, of Thrupp (presumably Thrupp Bridge, Northamptonshire) - possibly a relative?

Modified to add: possibly not as this gentleman died in 1869 aged 76.
