I looked at the 1911 census(es) and decided that we'd need to know more from the 1921 marriage before plumping for any of the candidates from 1911. OP hasn't been terribly clear about who, when and where(s).

I have found an Elias Marsh living at Cocken Terrace, West Rainton, Houghton Le Spring, Durham in the 1901 census with parents Elias and Margaret and three brothers.
