Baptism of Robert Woollard c1608
« on: Saturday 13 January 18 13:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Looking for the baptism of this man who married Ann Campin, also looking for her baptism. They married Fulbourn in 1631. They had 8 children all baptised at All saints Fulbourn.

Many thanks

David

Names of the first children in Fulbourn may help
Robert 1632
John 1635
Ann 1637
Joane & Mary 1641

But did Robert marry again in 1641?

I was thinking of this marriage on FamilySearch
Robert Wollard + Alice Burgesse
26 Sep 1641, Newton By Cambridge

Is Newton near Harston (and near Fulbourn!)
Taken from mf 1037092 (parish register transcripts)

Also indexed as such on Cambridgeshire Marriages (findypast)
Oddly, the BT says spouse was Mary. This is a part of document covering the events in Newton during the Commonwealth period, and must have been sent in to the diocese in the early 1660's. So it could well be a copying error?

Hi Jon

Just got back in and found this fantastic information that you have discovered. I think that Ann Campion  baptism is a certainty. I think the Robert Woollard in West Wratting id the best choice as several of the Family trees on Ancestry have his birthplace as Wesr Wratting and the date of his death as 1664 in either Fulbourn or west wratting

Hi Jon

An interesting aside all the other Family trees have Robert,s parents as Robert Woollard and Agnes Adams.

I have been trying to find their marriage and children, but I suspect that they might be in West Wratting or Weston Colville as I dont want to go down the wrong line.

Kind Regards

David :D
