William Caunt marriage

Hi,

I have a William Caunt, born about 1834 Garthorpe, Leicestershire, according to various ancestry trees.  Father poss William Luis Caunt 1795 Arnold Notts and mother Mary Lunley 1802 Notts. 
William married Eliza ?  1828 Shillington, Lincolnshire, 6 May 1863 St. Mary's Nottinghamshire.  I would like to know Eliza's surname if anyone can help.  They are living in Garthorpe in 1861.

Have you tried using the GRO Birth Index to check the mother's maiden name of any children?? https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp  You have to register but it's free to   search

William married Eliza ?  1828 Shillington, Lincolnshire, 6 May 1863 St. Mary's Nottinghamshire

Where did you get that info from?  The only one in Notts 1863 was to Jane Muslow/Muxlow
