Anns Parents may be William UNDERWOOD/Mary SANSOM married 22 Jun 1783 St Mary

And Richards William COX/Betty SAUNDERS married 24 Jun 1781 St Mary

There is this Death Reg GRO Index
COX, RICHARD, age 66
GRO Reference: 1855  J Quarter in CRICKHOWELL  Volume 11B  Page 101

But I cant find him 1851 Wales Census.

1841 for Harriet and Sister Agnes;
Llanelly,Crickhowell
Ann Richard, 23, Needlewoman
Harriet Cox, 20, Servant
Agnes Cox, 16, Servant
David Williams, 23, Saddler
All not born in County

Agnes married 1842 to Joseph MORGAN

1861 Census
Joseph Morgan   42 born Woolaton, Gloucestershire
Agnes Morgan   35 born Evenham, Gloucestershire
Emma Morgan   12
Glousa Morgan   9
Mary J Morgan   6
Mary A Morgan   10/12

1851 Census
Joseph Morgan   31 born Monmouthshire
Agper Morgan   27 born Glamorgan
Ann Morgan   4
Emma Morgan   2

Bit of confusion with place of birth there.

MORGAN, EMMA, Mothers mn COX****
GRO Reference: 1849  M Quarter in CRICKHOWELL  Volume 26  Page 328

I'm guessing that your problem with familysearch might be to do with not signing in.  Since mid-December you have to register and sign in - you might find you are able to see records if you do this.

Hi Pheno,

No that is not the problem, I sign in every time I go to familysearch.com
Have you tried to use it lately ?
I've been on it again today and sites I was searching yesterday do not even exist today.
The way it's going you will have to pay Ancestry to do anything on familysearch soon.
Over the last couple of months a lot of files have disappeared from familysearch.com
I think they have caught the GREED BUG.

Cheers
Geoff

Hi Geoff.

I think I have answered your question;
"Her parents were Richard & Ann COX, he was a plasterer. Alas, they have also disappeared from sight."

Did you see what I posted?

BURIAL FreeREG;

Birth c 1792

1841 Wales Census

Both not born in County

Plus extra info also.

Trish :)

Hi Trish,
Yes, I saw what you posted and I saved it all to check against what I already have.
The point about Richard her father and her sister being with them in 1841 suggests that Dad might have gone over after Ann died, and because he is still there after Harriet and her new family came out to Australia suggests Elizabeth had married and Dad stayed as there was nothing to go back too.
So now I'll concentrate on Elizabeth in this family.
Thank you for your help with this, it is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Geoff
