After three announcements were published, namely on the 17th, 18th and 19th Sundays after Pentecost, with no canonical impediment found, the respected young man Johann Paul Berger, citizen of Chrudim, and his respected bride Francisca Michalkowa, also a citizen of this place, were married by Wenceslaus Petzel; witnesses – Maria Anna Petzilkin and Vi(...) Anna To(?)uskowa Pr(...)amka(?)

The Latin " blurb" at the start had defeated me & I did not pick up that the banns were counted forwards from pentecost. I found the baptism in Chrudim of Johannes Paul BERGER in June 1722 , so he would have been about 24 years old at marriage. Their first child was Johannes George BERGER bapt April 1747 in Chrudim. He became a master tanner and moved to Benešov, a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, about 40 kilometres southeast of Prague. He was named in the parrish registers  as Jan BERGER and, like his grandfather Paul, married a widow there in 1779.
