Translating Possible Gaelic Marriage Record dated 1663

OH, another mention, 1st May 1674, "John Flaikfield,  younger, weaver, is discharged & fried be the deacon fra serving as officer to the calling in respect to his povertie & inabillatie to serve in the said office!"
 The officer's post involved some financial loss to the holder!

OH,  probably your man's work for the craft meant that his loom was neglected so no bucks coming in?  The Guilds published histories of their craft, I have the Weaver's pub' in 1905.
