Nun's in Castleknock, Dublin
« on: Tuesday 16 January 18 09:59 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking to find out the order of nun's which were in Castleknock, Dublin in 1901.  I have a potential relative I've traced through a census document to this area.  I do know it was more than likely Catholic.  If anyone can assist with this or how to contact them I will appreciate it.

There are at least 3 churches in the area - St Brigid's, Our Lady Mother of the Church & Church of St Thomas, the Appostle.

I'm also wondering if Castleknock College was the Nunnery or if it's newly built to suit today's educational demands.

I was just looking at that one
difficult to read

Doesn't say St.Vincent's but quite likely to be the same order of nuns.
Finding a death for one of them might help.

It was a school for ‘deaf mutes’. There are some references online to the school.
