SWaffham Bulbeck Baptism please
« on: Tuesday 16 January 18 14:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Looking for the baptism of Thomas Barton c1639 in Swaffham Bulbeck he married here and his children were baptised there. There is an entry on the CFHS sire for Thomas B in 1639 but I dont know if this is baptism, I have checked Free Reg, Family Search and Find my Past without success.

Many thanks

David ;)

My record for the marriage has the 28th, but only two days different. Burial for Samuel- Swaffam Bulbeck 20/11/1671. No baptism so maybe he was born somewhere else.
regards.

A lot of my ancestors came from the Cambridge area and I have CD's for various parishes. Not looking for anyone in particular at the moment, but the main surname is Butters.

Hi Paco

Are you a member of the CFHS ? They seem to have a great deal of useful information, I have rejoined after a 10 year lull to try and update my research, some of which has proved to be wrong. Which parishes do you have cd's for please ?

Kind Regards

David

Hi Paco

I have found a wedding for William and Audrey Kent, but it just shows married 1608, I have  also found a baptism for a William Betta in Swaffham Prioir, which I think might be my man.

My grandmother was Annie Cornell, who was baptised in 1880 in Great Shelford, the last in a direct line of Cornells in that village fro over 1o years, her mother was Ann Dean of Staplefors, which takes me back through the Tunwell, Howlinge line to Sir Giles Allington of Hordeheath. I also have a number of families in West Wratting including the Ellam;s and and also in Balsham.

Kind Regards

David
