I've just taken Japeflakes' images and overlaid the young woman with the older woman (resized and head straightened to upright). The proportions are very similar.

Does this help, or merely confuse.

Photo on the left, unknown woman
Photo in the middle, known woman b 1885, married 1906, photo taken likely 1927
Photo on the right, same known woman, photo date unknown but likely 1930s/40s

The last photo is the same as the unknown woman, I'd say  :)

Nose bridges look the same on both women

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Seeing them lined up I think the First Lady appears to be the odd one out and two and three the same lady....but they could all be the same lady given the passing years. The hairline on the left side on photos one and three both look to recede.

1.  Everyone [here] agrees that the man in the two photos is one and the same.
2.  I know that the man on the 1927 b/w photo is my grandfather (it's a snip from photo of him and gran with all eight of their children).
3.  There is some slight difference of opinion [here] as to whether the two women are the same, but as grandfather was an only child and only married once, I can't think of anyone else it could be other than gran.

So, I'm thinking that the couple on the sepia photo must be my grandparents.

Does that sound right?
