Looking for baptism of Ann Powell
« on: Tuesday 16 January 18 20:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi

This lady married William French in Ickleton in 1669 and  Icannot find a baptism, it is an unusual name and Cambridgeshire and I suspect she might have come across the border possibly Essex.

Many thanks

David ;)

Ann POWEL baptised Ickleton 2 April 1643 daughter of Alexander and Alice POWEL.

Alexander POWEL married Alice FRENCH, both single and of Ickleton on 28 October 1640

Hi Claire

That is great, now I wonder if there is a connection as she Ann Powel marries a William French born c1742 and I cannot find him, I wonder if he is a relative of Alice French.

Many thanks

David :D :D
