Help reading county name on naturalization record
« on: Thursday 18 January 18 04:45 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone please help me determined if this record reads Chatham County or Cherokee County? It is the "C" word I am trying to make out. Unfortunately someone emailed me this record as a jpeg with this resolution and I have no other copies. Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Hi

If you could try to enlarge them, the images are too small to read. ;)
Paylet, Pallatt, Morris (Russia, UK) Burke, Hillery, Page, Rumsey, Stevens, Tyne/Thynne(UK)  Landman, van Rooyen, Tyne, Stevens, Rumsey, Visagie, Nell (South Africa)

I think the first file reads Chatham. The second one might take a while!
