OK.  Let's hope that Kentucky entered mother's details.  :)
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Let's hope that KY actually responds. :)  I haven't had much luck when contacting government offices for help, they tend to ignore my e-mails.

Typically, it would be best to call if you have a specific question or to send money to order the record if that is an option.

If I was living in the US, I would have done that immediately.  My wife and I live in Ukraine, so calling or simply sending money is a pain in the neck.  If I don't get an e-mail response, I can always call.
