Hi,

A possible marriage about 2 miles away from Stansfield, Suffolk,

St Mary, Hawkedon, Suffolk
13 Feb 1759
John BALLS
Margaret DUTTON

There is a birth of,

Margaret DULLON
Baptism Place:  Hawkedon, Suffolk
Baptism Date:  09 Feb 1734
Parents:  Thomas & Margaret

Both of these are transcriptions and I can't see an image to see which surname is correct. They could be different people but it seems a big coincidence.

There is also this possible birth for a Margaret DUTTON,

Margret DUTTON
Stanstead, Suffolk
Baptism date:  20 Dec 1736
Parents:  John & Barbara

Regards,
Daisy

Hi Daisy and Solidrock

Many thanks for that very useful information>my only concer about the marriage  of John and Margaret is that there is 7 years between their marriage in Hawkedon and the birth of thei first child in Stansfield, I wonder if there is any sign of children being born in that parish betwen 1759 and 1766.

Also regarding the Margaret DULLON and Margaret DUTTON, is there any sign of a marriage in Hawkedon or any other births that might indicate a mistake in transcription.

Kidn Regards

David :D :D

Hi David,
I can't find any earlier births before 1766 so I assume they married around that time. Found another child that died in 1772..

Philemon Balls. burial 01 Jan 1772, Stansfield, Suffolk. father John, mother Margaret.

Can't find his birth yet.

The James is the one I gave you born in Sudbury.
