Hi Annette

It should have been 1175 but I am sure that you lookd for a few years either side.

Many thanks

David

Hi Solidrock

Thanks for that, the Sarah you mentioned baptised in 1775 died 2 years later, but John an Mary had another daughter that year who they also named Sarah who must be my one. I have seen the wedding on John Moutlon and Mary Sheldrake, which would be just right, but I need to find the parish they married in. I am thinking about contacting the Suffolk FHS and asking for their advice on that entry.

Kind Regards

David :D

Hi,

Does this help?

Suffolk Marriage Index Transcription

Marriage date:  07 Aug 1768
Marriage place:  Sudbury St Peter, Suffolk
Mary SHELDRAKE
John MOULTON

Regarding this Margaret I found earlier, I can't see any other DULLONs in the area so I think she is a DUTTON,

Margaret DULLON
Baptism Place:  Hawkedon, Suffolk
Baptism Date:  09 Feb 1734
Parents:  Thomas & Margaret

So I wonder which Margaret married John BALLS?

Have you seen this?

https://www.suffolkarchives.co.uk/collections/getrecord/GB174_FL625_7_3_1_1

I'm not a member so I don't know if it has any further info.

I found this DUTTON marriage,

Sarah DUTTON
St Mary, Hawkedon
25 Oct 1763
Spouse:  Thomas WORLIDGE
Spouse parish:  Stansfield, Suffolk

I wonder if it is connected?

Daisy
