Baptised 11th February 1879 Honora with parents William Delaney and Maria (Mary?) Roberts.

This matches GRO record for Nora Delaney December quarter 1878

Yes she was born in 1878 which gives her mother's maiden name as Roberts.

I have found a Nora Delaney born 1879 Liverpool in the 1911 Census working in St Helens, Lancs, as a servant to a Chadwick family.

In the 1939 Register there is a Norah Harris with husband John V Harris and daughter Brenda M in Liverpool.

As mentioned in earlier posts there is a marriage in 1930 for a Norah Delaney to a John V Harris so obviously this is the same couple. However when you look up the birth ref for Brenda Harris she was born Liverpool in 1917, some 13 years before the marriage took place. Her mother's maiden name is Delaney.
