Exactly.   Then they would have been around when they got married in 1668.

Was the Stanley family prominent?

There are many Stanley families, some prominent others not so.

"Your" jane appears to be a Stainsby, not a Stanley.

It seems to say that Jane was of Elvetham. Which is in Hampshire.
