One of the worst FH things
« on: Friday 19 January 18 18:25 GMT (UK) »
This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to say and do.

This morning at 8:45 my wonderful Mum found peace. She was not in pain and she passed with dignity and grace.

I stayed with her all night at the hospital and she fell asleep and never woke up.

I have added the date and time to my tree and this was horrible.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in the knowledge that she passed away peacefully and that you were with her. You won't forget the sadness , but it will get easier.

One thing I said to her in the early hours was she could at last meet all those we've been hunting for and more ... I asked if she finds time to pop back tell me she's ok and fill in the blanks

Sorry for your loss but you can carry on the research you did together as a fitting tribute to her

Please accept my sincere sympathy.

It is always difficult to say goodbye to someone you love. At least you had the priviledge of being  with her when she passed away.

Perhaps she will find the time to come back to fill in the blanks - who knows.

Remember her with love and take care of yourself.

Sorry to hear of your loss.  I hope you find comfort in knowing that that she passed peacefully and that you were with her to the end.

Updating the FH with these details is always hard - it was more than a year before I could face it.

It sounds as though you had a lovely bond, and those memories will always be with you.
