It's Thomas' father David H Livingstone who was b 1843 and died 1910. He appears to have been a railway clerk b Gosport

Many thanks for you help..the information i was given was wrong..David H Livingstone was the father of Thomas Henry Livingstone....and it all hangs together very nicely from there. My correspondent lives in Australia (unbeknown to me)..and two children of Thomas Henry emigrated to Oz in about 1920  job done!! many thanks Derek.
