Thomas Coakley
« on: Saturday 20 January 18 21:35 GMT (UK) »
Good evening,

I am looking for my great uncles WW1 service details. Thomas was born in 1887, the little information I have is that he enlisted with the Royal Irish Regiment in 1905 - the the Machine Gun Corps 1918/19.
Service number: RIR 1/8737 MGC: 49038

Many thanks

You are in luck.  There are a number of his records on the subscription site Findmypast.  You may wish to take out a pay as you go subscription to download them.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
