The station is a short distance south-east of the centre of this map.

I modern terms, the station (no longer in use, although the line is) can be found a mile south of Broxburn by Station Road, over the canal and under the M8 motorway. See the map by the link below.

The map is clear, and gives me the location of the Cottages, when they were standing in 1901.

Hi, my Grandparents lived at Drumshoreland Cottages from the fifties, there were 2 houses then semi detached with a lot of land that they used as a small holding , my family were resident there until the 1990's. I have many happy childhood memories of Drunshoreland Cottages.

Hi Maureen,

Thank you for the additional information regarding the cottages.

My Great Uncle lived there for a short period in 1901, according to the 1901 Census, but their 1st. child born in November 1901 was registered as born in Goshen Place.
