Mahmoud Muftic death in London 1971.

hello,

i am looking for thedeath of mahmoud muftic. He died in London 1971. But i can't find any evidence of his burial or death.

Can someone help me ?

Are you sure of the spelling?

There doesn't seem to be anyone of that name around London at that time.

In fact now many people with that surname at all.

Assasinated in a London hotel.  Hmmm.

There must be a conspiracy of silence over this, since there seems to be no reference to it anywhere other than in an extremely vague unsourced wikipedia entry.

can something be found in newspapers of that time ? If someone was poisoned in hotel i think there would be news

The Times contains no references at all to the name Muftic before 1992 (an apparent 1803 entry is an OCR error for "music").

In 1992 we start to see references to one Kemal Muftic, an adviser to the then Muslim leader of Bosnia-Herzegovina, President Izetbegovic.  According to an article published on 30 April 1992, this Mr Muftic described the situation in Mostar as "tragic".

That wikipedia article about him, which states that he was assassinated in London, makes reference to a 1971 'In Memoriam' article about him  :-\
