What became of Virginia Childs?

I am looking for Virginia Childs, born 23 December, 1916 in Los Angeles.  Her parents were Eli Alexander Childs and Abigail [Abbie] Catherine Fox.  She can be found with her mother in Los Angeles in 1920 and 1930 but there is no sign of her thereafter - no marriage, no death.
