A few years back I was doing a line by line search of testaments in some Ayrshire Parishes for a particular surname when I had a correspondence with another researcher investigating his Cuthbertson roots in Fenwick/Kilmaurs, so I then carried on from where I was (1606) looking for both names. Unfortunately I wasn't able to shed too much light on his ancestors but I took copies of every testament I found which mentioned the name. Below is a summary of these for anyone who may be interested. NOTE that I make no attempt to link any of the people mentioned and am NOT seeking info from OPRs /Session Minutes/Sasines/Burgh Records, as the other researcher supplied copious amounts of these.
