Yes Thomas Mullowney was from Thurles  and James was from Kilclonagh maybe cousins .
       Hanora was from Kilclonagh and Wm Ryan was from Lisheen

Thank you P J  (merrick7) for your efforts in assisting with solving this mystery.   ;)

I do know that the "widow Malowny" 1828- will not be "mine".   
The Thomas and Honora who married in 1816, left Ireland for Australia in 1839.

I assume they had some children before they left, have you got their baptisms?
It would be interesting to see where the couple lived after they married and the witnesses might prove useful.

Thomas may have been living and working in Thurles when he got married . Maybe he was originally from Kilclonagh . Could the widow be his mother in 1928 . Where were the children born and do you believe that the Malowny's had another connection with Thurles .

Crowe, Crough, Croagh some Croak and Crow
Ireland mainly Tipperary / Limerick (where the name variations occurred most) but I have many all Ireland collections of data etc.
